Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Morrow at morrow-gallery.com. Last updated 1 November 2026.

1. Who we are

Morrow is an online gallery where independent artists in Egypt list original physical artwork and buyers purchase it. The artist is the seller of each work. Morrow acts as the artist’s sales agent: it shows the work, collects the buyer’s payment on the artist’s behalf, arranges delivery, keeps its commission, and passes the rest to the artist. Who runs Morrow, and how to reach us, is on the contact page.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18, give accurate information, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Artists

By listing a work you confirm that you made it or have the right to sell it, that it is a physical original, a declared numbered edition, or a printed photograph, and that the details you give are accurate.

Prices must be between EGP 300 and EGP 100,000. You keep your copyright. You give Morrow a free, non-exclusive right to show images of your work on the site and in our promotion of it, until the listing is removed.

Morrow keeps a commission of 20% of the artwork price on a completed sale. Founding artists pay 12% for their first 12 months, and a repeat sale between the same artist and buyer is charged at 10%. The rate that applies is recorded on each order. There are no upfront fees. Delivery is paid by the buyer on top of the artwork price and is not taken from the artist’s payout.

You must have the work ready to be collected and packed with care.

When a work is approved, Morrow issues a certificate of originality for it. The certificate records your declaration that you made the work and that the listing is accurate, shows the work’s details, and carries a number and QR code anyone can use to check it. When the work sells, it also shows the buyer’s first name and the first letter of their last name.

You are responsible for any tax that applies to what you earn. If a buyer is entitled by law to return a work, the price is refunded to the buyer, the work comes back to you, and no commission is kept on that sale.

4. Buyers

The total you pay is the artwork price plus the delivery fee shown at checkout. A work you reserve is held for you for 24 hours to complete payment. The work becomes yours on delivery.

You can return a work within 14 days of delivery, for any reason, if it is in the condition you received it. Report it in your orders. Morrow arranges the pickup and refunds the price and the delivery fee. If you report nothing, the payment is released to the artist 14 days after delivery, or sooner if you confirm you received the work.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Egyptian consumer protection law, including any right to return a purchase made at a distance.

5. Payment, delivery, and payouts

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; Morrow does not store your card details. Morrow holds your payment until you confirm receipt, or until 14 days after delivery pass with no return or problem reported. Morrow then pays the artist the price less the commission.

Delivery is booked by Morrow with a courier. Your contact details are shared only with the courier.

If a work is returned, or a reported problem is confirmed, the buyer is refunded. Morrow decides after reviewing what both sides provide. We may delay or hold a payout if we suspect fraud, or where the law requires it.

Payouts go to the mobile wallet the artist gave us. The artist is responsible for keeping that number correct.

6. Keep transactions on Morrow

You agree not to arrange payment or delivery outside Morrow for works found through Morrow, and not to share contact details to do so. We may remove listings or accounts that break this rule.

7. What is not allowed

  • Digital files, downloads, or mass-produced prints sold as originals.
  • Work that is copied, stolen, or that you have no right to sell.
  • Anything illegal, or false or misleading details.

8. Our role and limits

Our checks cover the listing details; they are not an appraisal or a guarantee of authenticity, and we cannot promise that a work will sell. To the extent the law allows, Morrow is not liable for indirect losses. Egyptian law applies.

9. Changes and contact
