Portrait of inner noise

القصة وراء العمل

This painting explores the fragmented nature of identity and the tension between the inner self and the face presented to the world. Through a distorted portrait where multiple viewpoints merge into a single figure, the work reflects the complexity of memory, perception, and emotional conflict. Inspired by Cubist fragmentation and Surrealist psychology, it transforms familiar human features into symbolic forms that invite multiple interpretations rather than fixed meanings. The oversized ear and shifting eyes suggest heightened awareness, vulnerability, and the struggle to process both internal thoughts and external voices. Layers of expressive color reinforce the emotional atmosphere, moving between darkness, uncertainty, and moments of vitality. Rather than portraying a specific individual, the figure becomes a universal psychological landscape, encouraging viewers to confront their own shifting identities and emotional experiences, allowing each person to discover a personal narrative within the fragmented face.
